IRONMAN great Ky Hurst has been forced to abandon his quest for Coolangatta Gold glory after damaging ligaments in his ankle. The four-time national ironman champion and Surf Life Saving Australia Hall of Famer has been deep in training for a shock comeback in the sport's most gruelling 46.65km event on the Gold Coast on October 18.
